Education and Multimedia Award

Do you spread the word and connect others to metal clay? We’d like to reward you for that!

Spreading the word can take many forms: Developing a new class, in person or online, developing new teaching materials, posting metal clay videos; writing articles about metal clay for a newsletter or for a magazine; authoring a book or exhibition catalog.

If you’re doing any of these, you are working to promote metal clay and help educate others. Therefore, you are eligible for this award. Honoraria of up to $500 will be paid to selected applicants in 2026. This grant will be awarded to the most outstanding projects. The selection process is not dependent on financial need.

Eligibility: Applicants for AMCAW Grant Awards must be members of AMCAW in good standing at the time of application and at the time of the award. Members of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, or AMCAW Grant Awards Committee are ineligible.
