Achieving Excellence in Design, Volume I: Balance
AMCAW’s newest publication — and calling it a “sketchbook” is underestimating it. Achieving Excellence in Design, Volume I: Balance is built to be used, not shelved. It walks you through the design principle of balance with clear explanations and standout examples of balance at work in metal clay, then gives you space to sketch ideas and plan new work of your own.
This is the first in a planned five-part series, with each volume focused on a core design element. Throughout you’ll find prompts to get you unstuck and QR codes that unlock doors to extra resources. It’s part reference, part creative playground — and something you’ll reach for when you’re designing, not just when you’re “studying.”

Once the order period is closed, we will print the workbooks and ship them in May 26.
