Ever wonder how things get done in AMCAW? We have teams of dedicated volunteers that keep things running. AMCAW has sixteen different volunteer teams that keep AMCAW alive, creating new and exciting tutorials, virtual guild meetings, newsletters and all things metal clay. Let’s look into one of our teams—the SINTER26 team.
The SINTER26 Team has been hard at work behind the scenes, organizing the next SINTER, AMCAW’s international, in-person event! The planning for SINTER26 began in early summer 2024, with a small core team focused on venue scouting and hotel contract negotiations. The team successfully secured a beautiful location in Orlando, Florida to host the next SINTER experience!
The international SINTER26 team is comprised of dedicated volunteer members from the UK, USA, and Canada—many of whom are contributing their knowledge from previous SINTER events. This global representation brings a range of diverse perspectives and fresh ideas, enriching both the planning process and the final event experience.
In early 2025, the team expanded and began outreach to recruit workshop instructors and presenters. The Selection Committee was then formed to evaluate proposals and curate a dynamic, high-quality program.

Subcommittees have been created to oversee key areas such as the vendor hall, Makers Market, meal planning, entertainment, gala, and the Superbly Sintered exhibition. Behind the scenes, vital tasks including website development, signage, printed materials, sponsorship coordination, marketing, and equipment planning are all being handled with care and precision.
